This will trigger your Course Progress details to be updated (read more about how to check your progress in “How to check my progress?”). Your course progress must show 100% in order for you to receive your Free Digital Certificate.
Once you complete the Study section for the particular module, we recommend that you go next to the Exam section to test your study-topic knowledge (read more about how to complete exams in “How to complete my exams”; read more about how to check your marks in “How to check my marks”; read more about your grades in “What are my final grades”).
Exam sections consist of questions to continuously assess your knowledge (based on the Study and Exercise sections). Your course progress must show 100% in order to receive your Free Digital Certificate.
How to check my progress?
At any time during your course you can check the exact % of your course progress. The overall course progress % is displayed in the course panel of your Virtual Campus, above the marks. You will see a grey/brown circle. To see your progress % for each course module please click the progress circle or the marks %. If the particular module is not fully completed (< 100%) you will have a further option to click on “View Unsaved Pages” to see the list of unsaved pages. How to check my marks?
To check your score for each module please click on the marks % from the course panel on the virtual campus home page or click into the course and click on the 'my marks' bar at the top of the course pages. Once a module is completed and passed, you can go back to the exam section and on each exam pages you can check the correct answers by clicking on the "check results" button.
If you have failed the module (received < 55% mark), you only need to resit enough exams within that failed module to achieve pass rate of 55%. We recommend you review details of your marks carefully before going back to the course pages to resit task. We recommend you resit exams where you scored the lowest % to maximise your chances of achieving a 55% module score. In the exam section will see a "resit" button instead of a “check-results” button on each exam page.
Please note that there’s always one resit per exam free of charge however you’ll be charged an additional fee only if and when you resit the same exam again. If you have failed the module but cannot see the "resit" button on course pages that means you have some unsaved pages within the module. Unsaved pages can be in any of the three sections: study, exercises, exams. To read more about how to check your progress and ensure you have saved all pages read in "How to check my progress?"
How to complete my exams?
To start the exams please click on the “Exams” section under each module. If there is no “Exams” section under the module it means that this module is not graded. Please complete all exam pages. Once you click "Save and Continue" you will not be able to amend your answers. Most of the exams include single or multiple choice questions as well as true or false type questions. Your score is calculated as an average of the exams you complete within the exam section of each module.
To read more about checking your score please go to "How to check my marks?"
How to resit a module / exam if I failed a module?
A module is failed if you have completed all exams within a particular module with a combined score from the tasks of less than 55%.
If you have failed the module (received < 55% mark), you only need to resit enough marks within that failed module to achieve a pass rate of 55%. We recommend you review details of your marks carefully before going back to the exam section to resit a task.
We recommend you resit exams where you scored the lowest % to maximize your chances of achieving a 55% module score. Within the exam section, you will see a "resit" button instead of a “check-results” button on each page. Please note that there is always one resit per exam free of charge, however, you’ll be charged an additional fee only if and when you resit the same exam again, after the free resit.
If you have failed the module but cannot see the "resit" button on exam pages that means you have some unsaved pages within that module. Unsaved pages can be in any of the three sections: study, exercises, exams.

If you have failed the module (received < 55% mark), you only need to resit enough exams within that failed module to achieve the passing rate of 55%. We recommend that you review the details of your marks carefully before going back to the exam section to resit a task and that you resit exams where you scored the lowest % to maximize your chances of achieving a 55% module score.
On the exam section pages, you will see a "resit" button instead of a “check-results” button. Please note that there is always one resit per exam free of charge, however, you’ll be charged an additional fee only if and when, you resit the same exam again after the free resit.
If you have failed the module but cannot see the "resit" button on the exam page, that means you have some unsaved pages within that module. Unsaved pages can be in any of the three sections: study, exercises, exams.
To read more about how to check your progress and ensure you have saved all pages see "How to check my progress?"
Can I resit some exams to improve my course score?
Exams can only be resit if you have failed the module (received less than 55%). If you pass the module, you can go back to each exam and check the correct answers by clicking on ‘check results’ button at the bottom of every exam page. Since you have access to all answers, it would be unfair to allow you or any students to resit modules that have been successfully passed.
